Car history check ,2 year old Discovery conning up different colour?

Report it if you see something like that. I know someone who recently got his car back after it had been stolen, because someone reported it lingering in a service station carpark for days. It had fake plates and for some reason debadged. It looked like they had actually been using it for a while.

But yes, the DVLA also **** up frequently. When I moved house they added me a second time as a new owner, so on the V5 it looked like I sold the car to myself at a different address :/

It could always be an error at the DVLA, I've only had a handful of cars but they've got the colour wrong on one and the engine type on another, both on new vehicles so no chance of stolen, which suggests a bit of an error rate at the DVLA or dealerships ;)

I've even known them get the number of owners wrong!

They had my previous car down as a different model and managed to completely **** up my name and address on my certificate of entitlement. Definitely not an infallible organisation.
