Car hits crowd at GTI International

I'm hearing news that a Seat Leon came of the drag strip and ploughed into the crowd today. Apparently 3 people hurt and an air ambulance was needed. Hopefully they aren't too bad. I was intending to go there today but didn't make it because of a very long day at work yesterday.

To be fair, if my steering wheel came off in my hands I'd probably just look at it and panic. I'm not sure everyone would instinctively press the brake pedal.

I believe the barriers do contain water however, so they aren't just hollow. They do seem quite small however.

Actually you might be right. I've just been reading on another forum and people were commenting on them taking very little speed off the car.
