My wife is renewing the insurance online and one of the questions is :
Have you made any claims in the last five years?

We have had our no claims bonuses protected but we have had two claims so does this count against us and do we have to declare it (even though we've got full no claims bonus)?

I think you should answer yes to that, but then another question they ask should be "how many year NCB do you have?" to which you answer full.

They usually ask to select accident type and also if NCB was lost and also fault.

I just renewed with barclays and they didn't penalise me for my non-fault accident :D

Yes, you do have to declare them. As Tesla has pointed out, they do not automatically mean that your premium will go up.
