Car radio code

I had to change the battery on my car a few weeks ago as it had died, now the radio is wanting a code, I've found a code in one of the manuals which looks like the correct one but it doesn't work.

How am I going to get the code? It's a 51 reg Renault Clio 1.2v Dynamique

You need the serial number of the radio and a few quid. Then google 'radio codes'. Most sites are instant. Alternatively, call the dealer but you could pay anything from nothing up to £40.

The OEM Radio's code will be in a national database accessible by your local dealer.
