Car Rentals in the USA

I was wondering if anyone knows the age/license limits for driving a rental car in the USA.

I have a full UK driving license and I am going to a wedding in Las Vegas sometime next year.

I have googled for it and seen conflicting views and rules etc, anyone able to shed any light on this for me?

Most rental companies out there charge an extra ($20-$30) per day on top of normal rental fees for under 25s
