Car respray costs?

Hi.

Thinking of getting my car resprayed due to scratches and what have you over the bonnet / etc.

Any ideas on rough prices? And any recommendations on who to go with (South Wales area if possible)

Oh and its a VW Golf.

I'd say anywhere around the £800 mark from a reputable place, but do your research first ffs

For a full respay (not blowover) - no chance.

you pay what you get, id say £ 1500 - 2000 , full car , but all depends what you want

The respray on my old R5 GTT cost £2k.

You can get cheap resprays, but they always look like cheap resprays IMO

I had that done when I was living in Newcastle so probably even cheaper than Stoke

£1500.00 minimum full respray solid colour as long as the body work is mint

When I got my bonnet and bumper sprayed after the got repleace on my fiat bravo, it cost the best part of £500 - 6 years ago. (and there was no cost involved in stipping the car down as they where replacement parts).

Full car will set you back at least £1500 depending on how you give them the car, what paint you want etc. Your best bet is to go to the local body shop and enquire.

If you are just after taking out the odd stone chip etc, get a recommendation from a good valet as to the options available.

just to get the front end of my car sprayed I was looking at close to 1k and up to 2k for the whole car done properly

Ouch

I was considering getting it sprayed a different colour guess I'll go back to getting the scratches and chips done. There's not much work to be honest but I guess it's still going to cost a fortune...
