Driving my wifes 07 Nissan note today and when driving in a straight line it has a slight pull to the left which leads me to believe the tracking is off but when i exceed 60mph the car felt like it was swaying left and right a couple of times like being buffeted by the wind but it's not windy.. what could this be?

She probably hit a kerb or something and knackered the suspension. Thats the kind of thing that happens with bad bushes or blown shocks but that isn't going to happen on a 2/3 year old car.

knackered the suspension! can you please be more specific? so it sounds like it could be more than just tracking then?

Hard to say what it is really...could be a loose this or a misaligned that...is it still in warranty? Get it checked out at a dealers. If not, get a 'free suspension check' at a tyre place then take it from there depending on what they say.

yeah still under warranty! might take it to the latter and see what they say before going to the dealers! ammunition for the fob off!

Also, maybe you should check to see how the tire pressures are. One tyre could be down on air and this will give a wandering effect, esp if it is quite a lot lower than the other side tyre. Just a cheap suggestion.
