Car using oil still....any ideas? (some legal advice too please)

As a comparison Tom, my old mans 528i is near 250k, he currently puts no more than a litre in it between services.

Something can't be right there as you see.....

I'd be looking at the refund route if possible, but how your going to convince the garage, I don't know.

All modern bmws are on variable/longlife servicing. Officially there is no alternative.

Mine's using 1L/1800miles.

Generally they use a litre every 3 to 4k miles.

Even my Astra tdi used a max of one litre between oil changes (20K) and everyone of my own cars (being a lot older) have never used as much oil as BMW seem fit that they should consume in the 3 litre fitted to Toms and others..

Hope you get it sorted soon Tom, you don't seem to have much luck at all concerning cars
