I took my little boy for a bike ride around a lake the other day which has a large population of ducks and geese.
When we returned to the car there were ten or more geese surrounding the car aggresivley pecking at their reflections in the freshly waxed door panels!

I have managed to T Cut most of the marks out but a couple of little blemishes remain!

I might purchase a shot gun and a poultry cook book this week! ;)

Has anyone else experienced gangs of hoodie geese or any other intimidating featherd vandals?

lol

not feathered vandals, but having stopped to look at the 'cute' ponies whilst going over Dartmoor, one from a group of about 10 that we were about 100yds from wandered over to the car -we thought it was after food. But no,it got to the car,ran its teeth up the wing and ran off back to its mates.Left a 'too deep for t-cut' 3in scratch
Not sure whether it was a ponychav or if he was making a protest about the bullbar on the front :)

:p Great title.

My mad Auntie used to have two Geese that used to wander in and out of her house :D
I've never been attacked by Geese though but a Bantam steamed me when i was a kid. Some Colonel type dude wearing tweed and a monacle came to my rescue with his walking stick, it was all a bit surreal to be honest.
Bantam attacked i scream shaking the damn thing off my leg while this old colonel type dude attacked me and the Bantam with his stick. :p
I had a close shave there but managed to survive the Bantam attack. :D

Bantam = A Tiny tiny little chicken looking thing that's black with a red beak. Deadly odviously !!!!!!!!!

Could also have been an old 125cc BSA motorbike, though to be honest, the poultry has far more power...

My wife had one as a guard dog.
.

That's a common use for them - all the bonded warehouses for the distilleries round here use geese rather than dogs. They make a heck of a lot of noise and will quite happily break a man's arm if they're in a bad mood (which is usually any day that ends in a Y)

I had a flock of small birds flew in through my open drivers side window once while I was doing about 40.

I didn't really see them coming it all happened so fast. At least I got a few of them with the windscreen. A few of them got me but I'm sure I came off the better. :p

A pigeon head butted my front grill a couple of months ago. Not a good idea when the car is travelling at 80Mph :D

I had to pick out the feathers imbedded in the lip of the bonnet as my wife found them disturbing...

I had a seagull who use to agressively stamp on the roof of my old Primera. The worse of it was cleaning up what it left behind on the roof.

they do that to make worms come out of the ground, but i frequently see them doing it on rooves and streetlamps

And if it seriously injures or mauls someone, out with the cleaver, SCHWING, roast roast roast, eat eat eat, "what goose officer?" burp :D

I know a chap who had paintwork "licked" off his car by some intrigued cows. Apparently cows has VERY abrassive tongues.

some cows licked my old mk1 fiesta all over, it was winter and they were enjoying the salt off the roads i think. one of them also chewed a wing mirror, went really wonky for a few weeks and then finally dropped off :)

Same thing happened to my Dad, he leaves his car in a feild while he flies his RC planes. The cows come and lick the road salt off the car (usually around the trailing edge of the windows) and scuffs up the paint. What they also do is use the car to scratch their ears, they have those plastic ear tags which I guess get quite itchy. Leaves 3 inch long dents in the bodywork.

The cow stories will all be true,if not for salt, then just because they can :)

They are also partial to oil and diesel for some reason, its why i never leave tractors anywhere that the cows can get at them.I did leave one in with some sheep once thinking they wont do any damage - they chewed the plastic dirt-trap/bleed valves off the bottom of the fuel filters :)
