Car with shortest service interval?

well its not a regular 600 mile service, its basically the bedding in service to iron out anything the factory couldn't be bothered to setup correctly at time of manufacture.

Don't modern Honda VTECs need rebuilds at 60,000 miles or something (unless they have been purely track cars when they last double the mileage). I remember reading that here.

Any car driven on American soil. They have this mindset of 3000 mile oil changes!

I don't think this is strictly true. Aren't American V8s known for their hilariously long service intervals due to their unstressed nature?

As for me - 5000km for the Soarer so I change my oil every 3,000 or when I get bored, whichever comes first :).

Nah, they're all down Quik-E-Lube getting $20 20 minute oil changes nearly 24/7! Not the engines but the culture + hot weather

Why the Atom? It's a Honda Civic Type-R engine (in the UK anyway), pretty average servicing like any other car really and they're not exactly used as daily road cars with road milage.
Hmm, for some reason I thought that they used a bike engine, my mistake.

I was thinking that a bike engined car may need to be serviced quite regularly...

My Mitsubishi Pajero is supposed to be every 10,000km, but there is a clause in the servicing recommendations which says that it should be done twice as much in harsh environments. Dubai counts as a harsh environment so I have to get it serviced every 5,000km (~3000mi). For me that's every month. Thank god I got a free servicing contact with the car.
