Card between 7770 and 7850?

I want a card that is cheaper than 7850, but better than 7770, it includes nvidia.
7770 just seems underpowered for games, 7850 would be good if it was a little cheaper.

I was thinking maybe 6870, but it's a little old now...

A 6870 (or any comparable second hand card) would be fine. It might be an older model, but it runs well. You might even find a second hand 6950 within budget if you're fortunate.

what games are you considering? i've found that a 6870 is still a pretty decent card for a lot of games

This time I'm buying only new cards, not used one's. I'm looking for 6870 prices, and they aren't very cheap, so it's not an option anymore.

Games I'm playing, like Call of Duty, Need for speed, well mostly fps and racing.

I wouldnt have thought the 650TI was better than the 7770?

It 'might' be around equal now since the 12.11 driver, though as far as I know, the main benefits there are for the 7800's and 7900's.
