So I have one of these and need a graphics card for it. I've never owned a graphics card. I've only ever used onboard. As far as I know, the T3-P5G31A doesn't support PCI-E 2.0. Is there a point in getting a PCI-E 2.0 gfx card if your machine doesn't support it? I mean, won't it be bottle-necked by the bus?

A PCI-E 2.0 card will work but youre limited by your PSU. I had an asus barebone before and even tho it was rated for 300w, it said it was a 250w on the unit itself.

So most if not all of the decent cards are out of the question as your PSU wouldnt handle it.

Thanks for the reply. I could always upgrade the PSU. I know that PCI-E 2.0 are backwards compatible, in that they'll run in a PCI-E slot... but is there much point in getting PCI-E 2.0 if the machine is limited by the PCI-E 1 standard?

It's just, I want to get a graphics card so I can play WoW @ 1920x1080 with all the settings up high. I've been using the onboard since I got the box and it was at a lower res with all the settings on low.
