Carling Cup and PL ganes, 14th to 20th *SPOILERS*

the yids prove they cant play with the big boys and shamefully get beaten by liverpool who are on a massive bad streak, well done liverfail :)

Another shocking away performance against the Big 4. Although we didn't deserve anything, but when will the referees learn the offside ruling. Then again, Howard Webb has been disappointing all season so far.

In the season from hell I'll take 3 wins out of 4 and a point off 4th.

Outstanding performance from everyone. Didn't play well but we showed grit and determination and won that as a team. Can't win without Gerrard and Torres can we Sky? **** OFF can't we!

The banners around the ground in support of Rafa were

What a game. Very pleased at not only doing the double against a dirty fouling side but also for holding a lead away and for coming back so well at home. I gave a slight two minute grin to be honest at the irony of our equaliser. I had thought earlier on that tonight could have been one of those nights - thankfully it wasn't! :D

We're starting to show that the side is starting to learn how to put their chances away; an important attribute to be in form with considering we have Villa and UTD coming up. We're still not that proficient with it though and Eduardo really has little confidence in front of goal which is worrying. Our strikers aren't really scoring goals at all, and of course with our other two injured almost all our goals are from our midfield 4/5. Bizarre but I'll take it.

It's always nice to see Rosicky and Arshavin play in the same side (which is something I've said for a long time). Let's hope that Diaby isn't injured too badly as this appears to be the time he's finally maturing. Can't wait for Song to return; himself, Cesc, Rosicky, Arshavin and Diaby look to make a very strong 5 in a 4-5-1.

Cheers again.

I've seen quite a lot of Arsenal this season, and I don't think Arseshaving has hit the form he had last season, Arsenal fans opinions?

He hasn't, but the short answer is that he's often played out of position or being asked to play the lone front man. He can't really do this as he's not a striker or big enough.

He's looked better these last few games, and in terms of the midfield it's pleasing to see Rosicky and Arshavin playing in the same side.

Better squad than Liverpool, my arse:p

To be fair the lads looked up for it tonight, it wasnt a great performance, but they scrapped like hell and the last 15 mins were superb, spurs were toothless considering their strike force, Crouchy probably their best forward.

Thought this would have been Aqua mans game to show some of his talent, he needs to toughen up a bit, thats the best Ive seen lucas play for us, lets hope it continues.

A slight glimmer of hope now, just hope we dont bugger it up against the Wolves now.

All the lads did well tonight aquilani well been his best mins so far, Thought tonight was Kuty best game not just because he scored but his effort was outstanding compared to the last few games.

Riera glad he is back was threating and hope he can stay injury free for rest of the season! So now lets give wolves a beating :D

Didn't play great, but far better than we were at Stoke. Starting to show a bit of fight which is encouraging, hopefully we can kick on from this!

Aquilani was impressive before he began to tire in the 2nd half and Kyriakos is starting to look a half decent defender.
Defoe gained nothing from being in an offside position from the start. He ran back, past where the original offside line would have been, giving him a clear disadvantage.
Therefore, how that is still offside i do not know.
Just because he moved back onside that doesn't mean he wasn't offside to begin with.

As for Tyler and his Monkey not understanding why Defoe was given offside; it's pretty simple, he closed the Greek down so he was clearly active.
This has a late Spurs equaliser written all over it. :p

I was trying to decide who to kill first, Kuyt or Degen. After every chance we missed I was even more certain we'd **** it up!

<3. I demand more arseblog live feeds.

When did he start doing live stuff during games? I've often thought he's one daily blog away from totally losing the plot this would be awesome in pushing him over the edge :D :p

The problem is the linesman didn't give him offside until after Reina had touched the ball therefore he saw little wrong with him not closing down the Greek defender. The fact is the goal was legit and the referees need to start getting some knowledge of the offside rule. If they don't understand it then why is it still implemented.

The 4th official and the referee assessor (who was questioned prior to Geoff Shreaves clearing it up) confirmed the goal should have stood. That aside, a goal would have been harsh on Liverpool because Spurs didnt deserve a point.
