Carol Nash, any good?

I've used Carole nash, and have no complaints. When my bike was stolen, I had a replacement within 4 weeks. Although this was more due to Aviva (who CN brokered) - I sort of bypassed CN and dealt with them directly.

I was still getting letters from CN asking for details weeks after I received my replacement bike.

My first insurer was Carole Nash, who brokered Equity Red Star. Can't really comment though as I never had to claim and they all seem super amazing when they're about to take a few hundred £ from you :p

They were fine in terms of not messing me about with anything.

never had to claim but they were g....ah....when my bike got nicked they deemed it as a right off but didnt tell me....they then cancelled my policy and sent me a letter. Pretty lucky I didnt get bent over by poliice tbh

Is there any point using them if they're just a front for underwriters? I have a car policy with aviva so might check them out thanks for the heads up

Mine was underwritten with red star. TBH all fronts are the brand you buy into and the rest is the small companies that actually insure you

Yeah, every insurer is like that, they use a variety of underwiters who actually provide the policy. You can't actually buy direct from then underwriters, you go through brokers.

Don't think you can go direct to people like Equity Redstar unfortunately. It'd be immediately ~£70 cheaper if you could.
