No it doesn't with standard pipe,can on

With a race can on though they do normally pop n crackle like that

pillion footrests arrived today from hong kong,only needed one but for £5 for the pair i fitted both,only need a plastic trim now that fits to the inner green fairing and she's complete
 
it depends on the insurer I think,ive read that some want an engineers report after its been repaired and others don't

ive gotten quotes off mce/bennetts and that came back fine without any questions
 
I don't think it matters,if it still has a valid mot on it it would still be valid once you've repaired/insured it

Its more relaxed than a car category c write off,for those you would have to have it inspected
 
ive checked it said it expired july last year,bike was wrote off in june last year

so I think the same has happened what happened to you it just expired naturally

far is I cant tell its only certain insurance companies that can ask for an engineers report,but not all are bothered,and you pay a £25 fee for applying for a new v5 if its a cat d,cat c its free
 
yeah they automatically revoke it if its been written off

ive applied and received a new v5 though,no trouble,im still yet to tax and mot it

the last piece of plastic trim arrived today,so I fitted it onto the bike

its complete now and nothings missing hooray,ill post some decent pics up later of it completed (I think ill call her Grotbags:p:D:D)
 
Not sure without riding it day to day,but not gonna ride it gill next summertime,could keep it a while and sell on not sure

ive only took it round the block a few times,i want a fender extender yeah,£24 one is and im still waiting on a decat link pipe so I can fit the akra can that ive got,idk when that will be though

and I don't think it will scratch it as its leather but could take it off just incase,or move it so its under the damper

and yeah whoever had it really looked after it,i don't think its seen any rain,plus its had 5 owners

(it was mainly cosmetic,the hardest part was getting the forks checked and the tab welded back on for the front mudguard)
 
Yeah I was trying to think of where you got yours,they seem to be hard to find for mine,powerbronze do one

@help,how come they revoked your licence? Totting up in probation period?

you wanna get one clovis,ideal first bike if you ask me,they aint to powerful unless your really high up in the rev range

the later ones offer good spec aswell,big piston forks,slipper clutch ect

just take your time looking and get a decent one
 
guy who makes the link/de cat pipes said he'll have made a batch up by the end of the week,so ill be fitting the akrapovic and decatting it soon

ill try and do a stock vs akra sound clip if I can
