But it gets tedious with so many threads having Daily Mail links and idiots are all over it posting 'Lol Daily Fail' when it turns out to be true.
In fact I don't remember seeing a thread with a Daily Mail link when it wasn't true (I don't read every thread though).

But that's because now people tend to source check before they're ridiculed. A lot of stories used to be posted that were just DM embellishments.

Even it holds up as a source, it usually still differs in emphasis compared to the Beeb or Independent for example.

The problem is bias, cats as a species hate mankind and are simply biding their time until total domination, so your much more likely to get a guilty verdict purely through spite.

I was looking for a while now what really happened to the cat and hoped to the result of taking the cat to court. I found out they did resolve the issue but the press was going on about it. It is not true that all their proof was ignored. The cat was discharged a long time ago when reported as a cat. See this link http://www.libdemvoice.org/cat-sal-esposito-summoned-for-jury-service-22861.html A friend told me that a cat had to go an ultra-orthodox Jewish in Israel as a student because of a mix-up. Normally ultra-orthodox men have to attend a Jeshiva after they finished school instead of going to work or go to the army. Imagine a cat becomes a soldier or goes to a job interview maybe as a bank clerk. Mmm! Can I trust this cat with my money?

There can be mistakes on both sides and often there is a mix-up with bureaucracy. So there is always some truth in it.
