I looks like two vet bookings then, we'll get you one of those collars.
My mates cat went feral, only came home for food, wouldn't let them go near him and then just buggered off for days.
Skip forward a few months he saw it dead on the main road near by so collected it later, put in a bag and buried it down the side of the house. 3 days later the cat turns up at the door, never laughted so much when he told me. hehe
(on the storey of dead cats, my other mates cat was asleep on top of his work van, the thing got killed as he drove off with it on the roof and fell off the back, he's very touchy about it).

We had both our cats done when they were kittens.
Female cat comes in and out the house when she wants
Male cat again comes in and out the house when he wants but stays in a lot more
He has also gone through passing worms this week.... wasnt a nice sight! So £40 spend on new flea/worming drops called advocate as well as worming tablets every 3 months!

How irresponsible. It costs just under £30 at my local vets. You are directly contributing to the over population and subsequent slaughter of unwanted cats. And whats more, because your cat is the male cat, you don't have to deal with the consequences of a litter of kittens.
Behavioural problems aside, neutered males have the lowest 'wandering' capacity of cats. If you don't want your cat getting squished by a car, i suggest you get him done pronto.
