Cat was ill, now wont poo - updated HAS POO'D YEAH!!!!!!

Alright all, my Cat Timmy (the one on the right) was ill a few days ago, stopped eating and became really lazy. We took to vets and he started eating again on his own just before we went ¬_¬ anyways vet said prob just a cold or gastric bug etc. He was vomitting white bubble froth a lot when ill.

Now he's started eating again, he hasn't done a poo in 2-4 days. usually 1 every day. (they never go outside)

he did have an issue with eating plastic bags but hasnt had any in a while.. now what u reckon i should do? Get some lax for him?

vets ran out of Lax, but while cooking dinner he did a poo YEY!!!!!!!

yeah went to vets and they said Catalax, but they dont have stock... nor did the pet shop ¬_¬ sigh. need to go to a new place to find it. Not april fools lol

My parents cats have never done anything like that - i know you said he's eating again but is it similar amounts to before he was ill or less?

less for sure, he used to be a right greedy sod but still eating and playing around and fairly normal except no poo and eating a lil less

Ring the vet for advice - we had to give our cat liquid paraffin in her food to get things moving again.

sometimes i dont poo for a week either.

i dont think you should worry unless the cat starts going to the litter tray every few minutes or you notice him staying inside for an unsual amount of time.

i think a good idea would be to mix a small amount of water in with the wet food just enough so it looks a little wet dont drown it , it may help your cats stools moisten up a little and ease the passage.

one of out cats has a fascination with sticky tape , cling film etc to btw lol idiot trys to eat it so we have to be careful not to leave any laying around.

take him to the vet, my cat had bowel trouble. turned out to be serious and is no longer with us.
