cat5 wireless adapter?

do these exsist? all i find are usb ones

want it to go into my router, so i can get my laptop online when my pc is off

look for an access point, or more likely you'll need to get a wireless router (even a cheap wireless router and disable the router part in it's setup), as they tend to be as cheap/cheaper than dedicated access points.

Any will do tbh, as Werewolf says, you can use an AP or a Wireless Router.
