I can confirm for this launch that it will be a hard launch, we have unreal amounts of stocks, enough to last us throughout XMAS and January, not only that the price will make people very happy for the performance these cards will bring to the table with fantastic availability.

MSI Radeon HD 6950 & HD 6970 listed in France

After some delay, AMD’s single-GPU Radeon HD 6900 series cards, the Radeon HD 6950 and HD 6970, are finally expected to launch next week, and the first sings of their retail arrival have appeared in France where both models have been listed.

The Cayman-based Radeons found on pre-order are made by MSI and have different (estimated) availability dates – the HD 6950 on December 11, and the HD 6970 on December 23rd.

The Radeon HD 6950 packs 1GB of GDDR5 memory and has a price tag of €398.22, while the Radeon HD 6970 includes 2GB of VRAM and costs €496.02. These are some hefty prices and we think they will go down by launch day.
