You might know that I went out on a CBR500R and was very disappointed with the bike. Well, seems Honda are about to release the CBR350-RR. The bike was shown in Tokyo as 250-RR but it looks like a 350 version is on the way to the UK.

If this gets released I hope it's offered as an A2 spec bike with a full fat remapped version for everyone else.

The 250RR is a twin cylinder right? No, just no.

Needs to be a proper 4 cyclinder 15-18k redline screamer.

It seems all the manufacturers are terrified to go that route:mad: It looks like the bikes red line starts at 14,000. Almost twice what the CBR500R could muster, so it's a move in the right direction.

God that's ugly, looks like a 5 year old designed it.

It's horrible. Nasty spindly forks, spindly wheels, weird angles everywhere and gaping spaces that look totally out of place. The CBR500 looks like a superbike by comparison.

I suspect (hope) the styling will be reigned in a bit before it goes on sale, since I can't see many people going for this over the RC390 or R3 unless there is a big price or performance advantage.

I really like it as well. If they build it as a proper bike rather than another A2 budget piece of **** I'd seriously consider one for weekends/learning how to ride on track.

Of course I'd have to move house first or some thieving scrote would be off with it.
