CBR 350 RR. Are we about to see the first proper lightweight for 30 years?

You might know that I went out on a CBR500R and was very disappointed with the bike. Well, seems Honda are about to release the CBR350-RR. The bike was shown in Tokyo as 250-RR but it looks like a 350 version is on the way to the UK.

If this gets released I hope it's offered as an A2 spec bike with a full fat remapped version for everyone else.

The 250RR is a twin cylinder right? No, just no.

Needs to be a proper 4 cyclinder 15-18k redline screamer.

It seems all the manufacturers are terrified to go that route It looks like the bikes red line starts at 14,000. Almost twice what the CBR500R could muster, so it's a move in the right direction.
