I know it's picked well in advance but I reckon if 2 teams from the same country are in the final, then the game should be moved to their home country.

Saves 50,000 fans + the 100,000 who just want to be there travelling to Moscow.

Anyone agree or am I on my own?

It shouldn't be moved for the sake of saving fans a trip, that's all part of playing in Europe.

The only reason why it may be moved is for safety reasons which hopefully shouldn't be a worry.

Don't be silly, playing it at Wembley would be incredibly lame. It would be no different to a domestic Carling Cup final.

Was thinking that myself, surely the great attraction of playing in europe is that not only do you get to gloat that your team got to the final and that you could be the best team in Europe... you also get a nice holiday as well :)

No, it's not neutral or no, you're not implying that?

i think most russians would probably be supporting chelsea myself so the neutrals allocation will probably cheer for chelsea. i don't think anything more untoward than that will occur though. no fixes or anything.

well whatever really, it's not like i think there will be a conspiracy, fixing etc, i just wouldn't be surprised if most of the neutrals looked favourably on chelsea. doesn't particularly matter to me either way to be honest who the fans might side with, i don't think it would influence the outcome of the game whatever that might be.

after being annoyed by some of the drivel in the matchday threads recently i shall do my utmost to not sink that low. i will obviously be lashing out at the ref, players, managers sneering about them not being a proper club, talking about how they were built on abramovich's dodgy money. then lets face it i'll lash out at liverpool because one of your comments will wind me up, i'll make remarks about how you blatantly weren't good enough to get to the final, quote valdano on his '**** on a stick' go on about how 'oh i'm sure next year will be your year' then i'll get a bit more drunk and probably have a bit of a cry.
