Please show me some evidence citing the relationship between piracy and diminishing entertainment sector returns? In particular, how the law suit actions deterring piracy in the USA have caused a massive boom in sales? It's an odd sort of stealth tax that they announce in a televised report...Immulsifier said:Yes but thats because of the changing price of Oil. What they are saying that it will now cost an extra 1.25p per litre whether the oil price changes or not so basically a stealth tax.
flump said:Sorry all I have to say this, ever heard of the "polluter pays principle"?
Petrol tax up -> Less pollution -> people priced out -> demand for cheap alternatives increses = less poluting transport available (use public transport, ethanol, electric etc)
Schoolboy economics a la Mr Adam Smith.
