Anyone know? Im guessing a lot of the tailors for hire will likely be shut over xmas. Whats a good second choice? Would rather avoid "intended for theatre" hire as they tend to be a bit stuffy. Anyone know if the likes of the suitwear shops in meadowhall etc would do anything worth owning (sub £100)?

I got mine from SuitsYou. £109 for a Dinner Suit with free bow tie and evening shirt. May not be the finest quality in the world but how often will you be wearing it? It was fine for my needs for my works christmas do.

This may well do and yes, mean black tie dinner jacket kinda idea, just jacket, trousers and decent white shirt have bow tie :)

and yeah, expensive not needed, just for a party so only has to hold up for an evening and mebbe again early in new year :)

ta for help guys - any other bright ideas tho would be very welcome :)
