Channel 4's The Aliens

Maybe a bit late to the party here but I didn't see a thread. Didn't expect much after the viral marketing thing they tried, but so far I've been pleasantly surprised. Equal parts silly comedy and chilling social commentary. Only got the last episode left to go. Michael Socha will go far.

Anyone else watch this?

I did start watching this. First episode seemed OK and we continued to watch it.
To be honest I just kind of lost interest. Suddenly it was the last thing we'd catch up on at the weekend.
Right now neither me or the wife can be bothered to watch the final episode despite the fact we've sat through the previous 5.
Cannot quite put my finger on why - almost as if I don't care how it ends.

There were some good bits and the cast were great....but just something..

Yeah I enjoyed it. But I'm a huge misfits fan so anything with a similar style is gonna be good to me

Didnt see finale though, gotta watch that this week.

There were some good bits and the cast were great....but just something..

Yup, we felt the same and couldn't be bothered beyond ep.2... it seemed to have potential, but fell flat.

They could have used penguins.
Yeah I know body hair but it's still daft.

I assume they used aliens to detach it from any real world events so that the audience would feel more or less equally guilty over it.
