does anyone know of a cheapish ir 1 to many device? all my kit is in a cabinet and the ir is hit and miss so i was thinking of getting one of the repeater things.. I need about 6 or 7 outputs though and the only one i have found is about £100.

not sure I am explaining myself... I have one remote (harmony 885) and 6 pieces of equipment in my cabinet. I need one all seeing ir eye on top of the cab to feed all the devices with their ir signals.

I understand what you are asking perfectly, i have the same issue :). A video sender will relay all IR commands for you as you wish. Put the "receiver" on top of your cabinet, and the "sender" inside it. The receiver on a video sender relays anything transmitted into it, down to the sender. The sender then transmits whatever the command was. Obviously you will not need to use any of the AV functionality of the system.

You mean outputs/blasters..not power. I guess you could buy two, plus two extra wires. End up around £60 in total. They come with AC adaptors, so you won't need batteries.

I've got one, does the job.
