cheap mobo with DDR 2 for dualcore p4 805

I have some DDR2 sat here and if i can get a ceap mobo i might get an 805

No I don't want a secondhand mobo.Just some advice on what people are using with this chip or similar and DRR2.

like recommend me a mobo for a 805 kind of thing

That says the FSB frequency only goes from 200-340, don't the 805s use a 133Mhz FSB?

yes the 805s use 133fsb, 20 x 200 = 4Ghz. so unlikely you will ever see native 1:1 300fsb.

EDIT: it supports CeleronD's at 133fsb, so it will work fine.

You need a board with an Intel chipset, basically 945, 955, 975 and none of those are especially cheap. Abit LG-80 or LG-81 can do massive overclocks.

Ignore the thermal management (AbitEQ) though. It doesn't work. The board is fine and stable, but the thermal monitoring is flakey and shuts it down. Turn that off and all's well again.
