Corinthias towers is not bad (5 stars and pretty cheap) just outside the centre, Americans are not allowed (by their goverment) to stay there though as it's owned by a terrorist.
Last time we flew we used BMI Baby going out and EasyJet coming back as there wasn't much difference in cost and the flight times meant we got an extra day over there.
We stayed at the Cloister Inn and booked via http://www.hotelconnect.co.uk/ which worked out cheapest. It's a good position - five minutes walk from Charles Bridge and about the same from the Old Town Square.
Last minute seem to be good on price. Me and three mates are going 9th-12th December, and are considering La Boutique, a four star hotel. The package is £124 per person, three nights, flying from East Midlands.
