Im free between now and march. A little different from the other threads I've seen on here though because I only want to be there for 3/4 days max.

Cheap as chips preferably, I've only been snowboarding once so not sure on any resorts :(

Can't stay for any longer than 4 nights but everywhere I've looked seems to be min 7nights.

Thanks :)

I am going snowboarding for 5 days in Poland at the end of this week. I organized accommodation myself which doesn't include food but kitchen is provided as well as some local small food shops. This is probably not the same quality as Alps etc but you can't beat it on price. The best thing is that accommodation is next to the slop which is a must imo.

I usually end up paying something like this (been for the last 4 years):
- accommodation £8-10 a day (shared room between me and my friend with en-suite bathroom)
- food around £10 a day
- lift passes £10 a day

Cheap as it gets :)

Thanks exactly the kind of thing I'm after! Where do you book etc?

The words 'cheap' and 'snowboarding' are very rarely seen together.

The Polish deal sounds interesting, how much are the flights?

Bulgaria or Romania are usually cheap depending on flights again.

Bar far the cheapest deal I have seen in years is the one I am going on, on Saturday. This is quite unbelievable, though there are 20 of us going.

Flights from Gatwick to Turin, ski carriage included.
Transfers to Serre Chevalier.
Accomodation, breakfast, cakes in the afternoon, 3 course evening meal with infinite wine.
Lift passes for 6 days.
Ski hire.

£500.00 all in

Yeah I went to Obergurgl last january and was a lot more than I was thinking. Im off to New York in May with the mrs so this was just a hopeful punt that something like that Polish deal would come up. It will just be me and a mate going and he can't have a week off work and I don't want to spend too much before going to new york.

Obergurgl is REALLY pricey. I was there for Christmas last year. Did not help that my old man was staying in the most expensive hotel in the resort as I had to stay in the same place.

One bar in town charged me £12 for a vodka and tonic

I worked out the cheapest way to drink out there was Austrian red wine. Not great, but the best value.

Anywhere else is going to be cheap to me then now :D

Loved the off-piste there though had a great time. Not that I've got anywhere other than the local snow dome to compare it to :o

The problem is that you can't get deals like this one online, this is not a package, flight and accommodation is booked separately (I have it organized by someone that lives in Poland). I probably should have not posted this here as this is not going to help you :(

EDIT: Flights are about £70-80.

I know this isn't what you wanted as its 7 days but going bansko, Bulgaria
