Hi,
I am going to a music festival in a few weeks (glade), and want to take some photos. I already have a nikon d80, so don't need a new camera for every day use, but want a cheap but useful digital camera, prefebily under £50 that takes SD cards (so i can use same ones as SD camera, and if i lose camera i can still keep photos (as long as i have the card)). Any reccomendations?

Alternitivly I am thinking of borrowing my sisters 6mp sony (not sure what it is, but its about £100-200), and getting insurance. Anyone know of any good insurance companies to go with for just a few days "holiday" insurance?

Thanks
Ash

Your home contents insurance should cover you for that.

ive been to 4 metal festivals with my camera and never lost it, and been in plenty of mosh pits with it, and never broken it.

infact, noticing your sig... ive been in a machinehead mosh with it and it didnt get trashed (download this year)

you'll be fine :)

Hi,
At the moment i don't have house insurance or anything, so would need to take out seperate insurance. Anyone got any recommendation's?
Cheers

Sorry I can't help about camear insurance, as mine has always been covered on House contents policy.

One serious recommendation though, is if you are in a position where you should have home or contents insurance and you are thinking about it in the future, get it now before the cost of all these flood claims filters into the rates. My home insurance covers many things that might otherwise need separate cover, phones, cameras, sports equipment, expensive mountain bikes etc. If I covered all these individually, it would cost more than a contents policy.
