Cheapest Option for Wide Angle Lenses?

The Tokina 12-24mm is highly rated lense...

I might be looking to aquire one of these in the next few months

a quick google on tokina 12-24mm shows a place in uk selling for exactly the same price.

I can highly recommend the Sigma 10-20. Its won me numerous competitions and is my favourite lens.

I can also highly recommend the sigma 10-20. It's won me nothing (my fault not the lens

) but it's still my favourite lens.

Hi Neil/ranarama - just had a look at your portfolio - were most of these taken with the 10-20?

I may get this lens as well

Now I have to think of a replacement for the kit lens as well - thinking of the Sigma 17-70 F2.8-4 but if I get the 10-20, I should probably go for a 24-something lens so I have a full range.

Decisions decisions!!

Hi Andy - The NY pics from day 3 onwards (I bought it out there so didn't have it at the start) were mostly take with it and all of the shots from the Kensington/Hyde Park/West End. TBH I rarely use it at the 20mm end but the extra bit of wideness to 10mm made the decision for me (as well as it being more than £100 cheaper than the canon 10-22).
