cheapest PCI-E graphics cards on the market?

I've got a build to do, need to be able to do basic photo editing etc nothing heavy, maybe play AOE-ROR on it and nothing newer,
should I go for a X300 or a 6200/7300GS
want to spend sub £40

What about onboard, the 6150 one is perfect for what you want to do.

well 7300 is better but more expensive than 40 pounds, and i ahd a 6150 and it DOES play games like hl2 and stuff but only at low spec

You could still add a PCI-e card later to a mobo with onboard graphics....it still has a PCI-e slot. You would save yourself the £40 then by buying the asus mobo

I built the inlaws a pc with onboard 6100 and it played dod:s at low res

this would be my choice - for the price its quite a reasonable card

well my onboard 6150 manage to run CSS quite well so this card should do it no problem

mines foxconn K8MA6150, have to say isnt taht great, because b4 i replaced my onboard gfx i keep on getting restarts wen palying games, and so did my friend who is also using the same board.
