Eurostar £59/69 per person deals tend to be at awful times, any other alternatives ? (Can drive to somewhere in the UK but not over the channel)

I just flew there £10 return from Glasgow Prestwick, however £26 euro return bus to central Paris and airport.

Have a look at some cheap flights...

I'm in Spain (Girona) at the moment visiting family and I was wondering if I wanted to drive here from Doncaster (South Yorks) or fly. I would have enjoyed the driving I think, but...

£140 forthe return flight to Girona, or the best part of £300 fuel and £150 or more for crossings on the tunnel/ferry.

I know it wont be the same travel expenses for you, but flighing has to be generally cheaper?

Plus taxes, bagage etc etc. Did not cost a flat £10 did it?.;). Ryanair offer a lot of £0 flights, but then see the taxes rise accordingly
Yes it cost me a flat £10 return, however not checked in baggage. But for 5days my rugby bag was enough and was fine for hand luggage, infact more than enough for 5days :).
