I'm planning on spending some money to make use of my E6600, 4GB Geil & 2x 500GB I have lying here. I'll more than likely end up taking the PC to work and using it there.

They've provided me with a P4 2.8GHz with 3GB RAM at the moment which isn't too bad as I've been allowed full admin rights so I can do various tweaks etc. but my E6600 & 4GB RAM would be far better, might be able to get a copy of Windows 7 on there as well :D

To buy:
Case: Coolermaster Elite 330
Graphic card: 512MB Sapphire 3650
Power Supply: 400W Corsair Power Series
Motherboard: Asus P5Q SE PLUS

Any suggestions/improvements? Maybe a bit of a cheaper motherboard? Bearing in mind this will be combined with an E6600 & 4GB (4x1GB) Geil.

My main question was about the power supply - is that 400W Power Series one as decent/reliable as the Corsair HX series?

Craig.

So is this stuff you're going to buy to make it into a full pc or is it stuff you already have? What's your total budget?

I suppose I could squeeze £200 - with the components above it's about £160 which could probably quite easily be made less with a different motherboard.

The list in my OP is the stuff I need to make a full PC.
