You know what they should do???

i'm using ForceWare Vista 100.51 (32-bit) and the perferomce is almost same as XP (maybe only few frams difference, Tested only css ) except only 1 of my cards work as there is no SLi

grr, no dreamscene, i want it... so they've released 23 updates, a new live messenger, anything else on the go today?

HOLY CARP!!! after stupidly selecting all the downloads, including the language packs, i realised it's nearly 2.5GB download, so have cancelled and will try a smaller one :p

/another edit - spot the SARS joke i just thought of when you look at the update list

Anyone have an idea what the other updates were for? I ask as my vista ultimate (x64) has gone from idling at 50+% mem usage to 30-40%. It could be a coincidence but...

When on the update screen you can click check update history and double click on an update to get a description of what its for.

I'd do it for you but I'm far too lazy for such shenanigans.

i take it dreamscene and all the other extras are ultimate only forever?

I believe most of them are. I haven't seen any other Vista OS other than Ultimate, so I couldn't comment. On the updates section, there is a link for Ultimate extra's you just click on the link and it tells you what is available :)

I installed a beta version of dreamscene (available on torrent) and I have a moving bliss background with rolling clouds which looks great!

On the negative side it is using quite a lot of my CPU up to 50% according to the little resource widget on the sidebar... which is hopefully only because its a beta!

Hopefully the drivers will catch up in the next day or so too ;)
Gonna check updates tonite and see what's what on Ultimate 64bit
