I wouldnt pay extra for using a card but i wouldnt mind using the machine.

The one's we've developed use GPRS and/or 3G.

When I was in Copenhagen all the taxis took card payments, which was very handy when it came to business expenses.

Why not just add 5% onto all of your fares, this is how shops do it.

If it was in a reputable taxi company, I would have no problem with it. I would find it quite convenient actually...

I'm not sure I'd be too happy about a surcharge though... Perhaps a small fixed charge would be better (20p, 50p maybe).
