Chipset cooling for Asus Gene III

Hi,

My overclock has been a bit unstable recently and it seems that my mobo chipset is getting to 95oC before flipping out.

I need a cheap method of actively cooling it without taking the heatsink off.

I tried a spot fan but it seemed to short my board and even caused a wee bit of smoke (was worried i had fried my board)

any other options?

question.........what voltage should my mobo chipset be at ideally for a decent overclock?
