Chipset?

Hi everyone,

It's upgrade time, and I'm going for a E6600.

But what the best chipset?

I just cannot decide on a mobo. Do I go for 650i, 965 or 975?

depends what you want it for.

The 965P chipset is currently the most supported chipset and proven to overclock pretty well....if you're not overclocking then the 975x marginally outperforms all the other chipsets....if you need SLI then the 650 or 680 is for you...

I want to overclock, and won't be using SLI.

then I recommend a motherboard with the 965P chipset.

The Gigabyte DS3 is excellent, as is the Asus Commando and P5B, Abit QuadGT...
