Anyone remember that chocolate dessert people used to have for school dinners? I'm sure it was made up of thick gooey chocolate with cornflakes in. Used to go lovely with custard. I'm 23 and this was from when I was 11-16 so a few years back now. I'm guessing they don't serve it anymore...at least they shouldn't, it's lethal!

Just talking about it with a few mates and we couldn't decide what it was called. I thought it was chocolate crispy but not sure. Can't find any pictures either :( It was the best thing ever though.

It's the only thing I can actually remember from school dinners...That and Spam fritters ;)

What was it called? 'Chocolate Orange...' something. :(

Ah but isn't that one really hard? This was soft and gooey and dripping with sticky chocolate!

We had it up in North Yorkshire and a friend had it down in North London so it obviously made it all over the country!

Yeah, that's what I thought you meant by thick gooey chocolate. Crackernel was flakes binded together by thick chocolate stuff. Baked and then cut up into squares.

they stopped doing that at our school when I was in year 8 :( there all healthy now but at least in sixth form I have the freedom to go into town whenever.
