Chris Moyles - Farm (funny)

Is that Aled on the left?

No wonder some bloke texted in this morning offering to donate £100 to comic relief if they sent him away somewhere forever ¬_¬

What? No! Thats not Aled at all.

This is Aled.

I love how everyone who doesn't like Moyles seems to jump on the "he's a fat ****" bandwagon. He looks to be in pretty good shape nowadays and probably fitter than a lot of us on here as well.

Chris Moyles is great in the mornings.. The last thing I want to listen to in the mornings is some god awful music and I find him quite funny! :)

Have been listening to him for years every morning now.

I tell you what cracked me up is yesterday was that Roy guy who used to present catch phrase…….

“Well Chris I was visiting my nan and I forgot my name so I said to her….. “Nana whats my name, oh Nana whats my name” …. Really wasn’t expecting it, cracked me right up… Simple minds hey!

That part was awesome! :D

Moyles is great in the morning, I especially like the first half hour with the cheezy song and the rambles before the music starts. He regularly has me laughing on my way into work.
Far far better than most of the inane junk thats on the radio in the mornings.

The only reason I don't listen every morning is the News and Sport bit. What age is it aimed at?! Its so damn patronising I fail to see how people don't write in and complain. There's no point having it.

Radio 2 had a 10 minute bit on the fall of Murbarak the other day, Radio 4 dedicated an hour to it. Radio 1 however had "The leader of Egypt has stepped down after pressure from protests, Egypt is a popular destination for British holiday makers, especially the Sharm el Sheikh beach resort"

I imagine the news on CBeebies is more informative!

Those of us who actually have to work in the world might find a bit of news useful occasionally, hell, cut it down to once an hour or something but stop the watered down pish that comes on every 30 minutes entitled "News"

Much better than the original. I have gone off Radio 1, maybe I am getting old but I feel it's aimed at 14 year olds. Xfm for me now, Dave Berry is good on the breakfast show.
You think so. I think the complete opposite.

There are very few presenters/"DJs" under the age of 35 on radio one anymore and most of them talk about their kids and other such approaching middle age subjects.

Chris Moyles (36)
Edith Bowman (37)
Fearne Cotton (29)
Jo Whiley (45)
Sara Cox (36)
Scott Mills(36)
Vernon Kay(36)

There are a few others that are younger but they get next to no air time.

I have been saying this for years. The Radio 1 news is one of the reasons that literally cannot stand to listen to it. I have thought about complaining before, but there is little point. It almost painful, if i do listen to moyles i mute the news, but this gets tedious.

The main reason i never listen to moyles however, above the news, is that Radio 2 is a much better listen. Chris Evans is a good host, and the content seems to be structured and aimed at a much more mature audience, or at the very least it seems much easier to listen to, to my ears. I used to like Radio 1, so perhaps i have just matured past its target now, the target for R1 does seem very low indeed.

You missed out Greg James (25), he gets an awful lot of air time.

Does a good show too, although again he looks nothing like you'd expect him to be. Weird how we build an image of someone from their voice.

I like Moyles in the morning, sure he isn't always funny and can be annoying at times but then he has got a hell of a lot of air time to fill.
All in all, he does a damn good job.

But then I feel Radio 1 should just be a nice chill out station, I don't really want to be reminded of world news in detail every hour (or is it 30mins). I'd be happy if they got rid of the news altogether really.

What about Dev whose on before Moyles and is complete **** or Reggie Yates.

Only ones I really dislike are Cotton, complete uninteresting bint with zero presenting skills and Mills who has to have a sychophant to pretend to laugh at all his made up stories. They just unplugged laura and chucked the new girl in to do the same job.

Whens carrie going back to the breakfast show. I preferred her in the line up.
