A little extravagant I know…

We are spending Christmas this year on our first family skiing holiday in Chamonix.

Any recommendations for Christmas Day restaurants? We have booked a cabin attached to a spa for our stay but would rather eat out.

No idea where to start to be honest. I don’t want Michelin but would like somewhere good.
Thanks

wouldn't have expected them to be full ... the french xmas meals is on Christmas eve ? oysters & foiegras normal fayre.
have mostly eaten pizza in Chamonix , did eat at restaurant at the top of the Brevent with view of MB which would be memorable for xmas lunch, if open.

Was that worth it? I have seen that and want to try it. I may try and book it for the stay.

admittedly I remember the lunch time view more than the meal - at the time had a friend in chamonix and not sure we even had to reserve, think he may have had a mate who worked there;
the black/red (google doesn't twig when you want to see piste maps) decent was good too.

(note to self : put pocket binoculars in packing list for future trips - usually wear a daysac)
