Brings back memories. I've still got the tank and the van in the attic. :p

Never got this for Christmas, although iirc i was given a second hand one a while later. I think it was missing some bits though. :(

Also Tracy Island Rocked, and to a lesser extent the Captain Scarlet Cloudbase :p although i never got Thunderbird 2, everyone wanted Thunderbird 2...

These ran over 100 quid from my hazy memory, santa couldn't afford that back in those early 80's... I got the cut down non electronic, elastic rubber bands for bumpers cheapo table.

Played the heck out of it though:)

Edit*

Heh, raleigh burner... mate had one, i didn't:(

I had this.

It's coming up to christmas now, as children most of us would have probably flicked through the catalogues and written down what we wanted by now. But what was the one present you always wanted but never got?

Haha that's funny. Before I opened up the thread, just from seeing the title, I was thinking "Aw I so wanted a Mr Frosty for years". Then, after about 4 years of asking for one, I got one.

It was ****.

You'd sit there grinding an ice cube for about 2 hours and it'd be melted by the time you had your "slush" haha.

Don't worry, you didn't miss out!

haha, i had that raleigh bicycle although so had my previous 3 siblings. it was the ultimate hand me down in my family... i think it was red originally but but by the time i got it it had faded to an orangey pink - pretty embarrassing really when your 6.

Yes I always wanted one of those that and the Big Tak

I had the Big Track (with trailer) was one of my favourite toys. Years later mum and dad were clearing out the loft and found it, stupidly I sold it on Ebay but luckily they have re-made them! I bought one for £30 in a model shop near me, albeit without the trailer it's exactly the same apart from the little battery compartment on top (that powered the laser seperately is no longer needed/used).
