Christmas presents you never got

3 some with the wife and her best friend 8 Christmases I've asked and 8 Christmases I've ended up with clothes and computer hardware maybe this year

Now if my memory serves me correctly, there were four Burners.

The blue and yellow one. (Burner)
Silver and black one. (Later edition of Burner)
Gold and black one. (Super Burner) I had this one.
Gold and black on with black mags. (Super Mag Burner)

I think this is correct but if anyone knows better, please feel free to correct me.

10 apparently, I had the chrome burner but with black mags off my brothers Mongoose so it was extra bad ass :D

I sooo wanted a Mongoose though :(

It was a good christmas when I got 3 of the Dinobots!!!!

Man, Dinoriders was where it was at. I got the t-rex thing with laser cannons on it's side, came with the weird croaky voiced frog dude.

Best cartoon of my childhood.

Well remembered...i had almost all of the Thunderbirds EXCEPT the stupid island. :(

I built my own Tracey Island after they showed you how to make it on Blue Peter. I think the whole nation built their own after that show, it was a massive success.

I never owned an action man and I feel like I missed a large chunk of my childhood out without one. I did have an army men set though.

One present I really wanted but didn't get was the HotWheels Car Crusher. I was gutted about that.

I also got a 464 but then realised they were better. Built in tape deck and full colour monitor? Far superior.

Still got mine and it works.

Sorry but it was awful compared to the C64, inferior Z80 processor, no SID chip and a very cheap monitor and tape recorder. The C64 had a proper 5 1/4 inch disc drive available for it as well, none of that rubbish 3 inch drive that you could get for the CPC-464. The games were much better on the C64 as well, most Amstrad games were bad Spectrum ports (as they used the same processor).

I had the CPC-464 (bought 2nd hand for christmas off a guy who had just got a Mega Drive :p).

Thought it was fantastic even if it was just for Roland on the Ropes and Double Dragon, however my school mate had a CPC-6128 which i believe had the disk drive instead of a tape.

Watching those loading screens were epic though :)
