I know there's a few Wildhearts fans on here, so I thought I'd pass on this wee snippet I just got:

"Christmas vs The Wildhearts

December 21st 2006

Wolverhampton Wulfrun Hall

Tickets on Sale 10am Friday

http://www.wolvescivic.co.uk/index.asp

Only show of 2006!"

Lineup looks to be Ginger, CJ, Ritch Battersby and Scott Sorry from the Brides of Destruction on bass.

Meanwhile the brand new excellent Wildhearts Live At Scarborough Castle DVD was released last week and I haven't stopped playing it.

Just read the More Info on the tickets page - "Ginger and co. are still going strong after over a decade in the business, and still playing their infectious hard rawk music, with the odd Irish folk overtone".

Now I have 99.9% of all recorded work and I can't remember any Irish Folk overtones.
Me thinks they're talking about The Levellers.

Yeah, more than likely referring to Geordie In Wonderland and that song which had bagpipes and whatnot in them, ah yeah Give The Girl A Gun.
