Cisco 877 Upgrade

Nice easy one for someone!

Should a 128mb stick of normal PC133 SDRAM work, instead of the rather expensive Cisco approved stuff?

Why do you need an upgrade on an 877?

No real reason to be honest, but i need to put an 8mb flash card in it to enable me to use advip and as ive got some old 128mb i was just gonna put it in for the sake of it

If you've got it lying around then give it a go, but I wouldnt expect to notice much difference!

It wouldnt surprise me if it refused to accept RAM that wasnt cisco branded
