CitiLink any good

I've had plenty of stuff delivered by City Link over the years, a competitor of OCUK always uses them (I promise the next time I need computer parts, early next year, I shall shop here :D) and have never had an issue.

What's very handy is they have a depot in my town so if they are delivering my stuff it doesn't matter if no one is in.

The link isn't loading for me.

I'm currently waiting for a delivery by CityLink. They were meant to deliver it yesterday but it never left their depot.
According to their website it's now out for delivery and should be here before 12pm. We'll see. :)

Like all courier companies, it is purely dependant on how well managed your local depot is.

Which around here is absolutely terrible.

They're called PooyLink (replace with more explicit word) by almost everyone around here.

When OcUK were with CitiLink I'd have to wait weeks and worse case months for packages :(

I prefer royal mail (london)

What happened with citilink once is i ordered a USB Memory stick and a SD card, i recieved a massive envelope which was ripped near completely open, the USB was missing, but the SD card was still there... the guy i talked to on the phone at OCUK was nice and sent me a new one!

To add more madness to the story, it wasnt even delivered, i had to go to Park Royal to pick it up and i actually went into the warehouse caused a bit of fuss he eventually found it on the floor... terrible!

If something is good you tell 2 people, if its bad you tell 10 people!

I'm in the same position but mine left the depot but never made it.

Well CityLink have pulled the same trick again at my parents house. Say they've tried to deliver but nobody was home which is a complete lie. Oh these companies can be so frustrating, why must their drivers lie so much! There go the Christmas presents.

from my experience with them it has been fantastic. an online store i buy from uses them as their couriers. they normally extreamly fast with delivery and never had anything lost!

Waiting for a delivery from CityLink here too.

Was suppose to be delivered yesterday according to their website, still doesn't say it's out for delivery so I'm starting to get a bit annoyed now!

That's happened to me several times before by multiple different couriers, very frustrating.

I have to say, CityLink in my experience are very good. But as was said before, you have so many different branches and so many different people working for them - you're bound to get the odd clown in places, incapable of doing their job.

I can't believe people leave ordering Christmas presents till the last minute and then act surprised when bad weather / a.n.other delay causes them to not turn up.

Simple solution - do your shopping a bit earlier!

The problem here isn't the fact that it's Christmas (this happens all year round) it's more the fact that multiple courier companies would rather lie to you than let you know they can't deliver your parcel on the date requested (even if you've paid for it). At least the Royal Mail had the decency to tell me something was stuck in Glasgow rather than lie that nobody was home.

They are truly awful - one of the worst I ever had the misfortune of dealing with. The company I worked for stopped using them as it became that bad.
