Civic Type-R (EP3) service history

So is the CTR, and it's more reliable, better built, and has a much better gearbox, brakes, and seats.

I found the Clio more chuckable and more nimble than the CTR. Build quality? No idea about reliability but both cars rattled more than mothercare and had an interior which felt like it was thrown together in somebodies lunch hour.

Was the CTR you tried a prefacelift?

I like quick french cars, but id definatly take another CTR over a 172 or 182. The 182 looks crap as well.

My CTR didn't rattle at all, the interior was fine, and no complaints, thought the stock radio/CD player is a bit cuffy. Far better inside than a 172, can't comment on 182.

It's a brilliant fun little car, thats why. It's quick, it handles really well, isnt that the whole point?

...and you take a risk with a 182 (cup - not driven a std), and find it's more fun to drive in certain situations. Pure personal choice between those two. I ended up plumping for a CTR a few years back, but subsequent blasts in a 182 Cup pretty much revealed why they are highly regarded from a purely driving aspect.

Mine is due my 72.5k service next month yours seems cheap honda want 350 including the valve clearance check.
