Clearly spoken as someone who has no ideas of the difficulties involved in organising events like this. All those things are easier said than done when there are a thousand other issues to deal with.

Yup. A still camera picture can't really convey the atmosphere of an event. I can imagine it was great fun.

Lol @ the comments, although tbh I don’t disagree with a few. I should have taken all the miserable one’s out, the bulk of those were taken during our BC2 match when we were concentrating When we initially booked our places there were only a few of us, however a few others booked late so the only way we could sit together was by multiplay offering us a section to our self, we had originally booked a row in the above picture…. Of course we couldn’t turn down offering the chance to sit 2gether….. I must say tho I’m up for going back to the same spot at i42, was perfect. The fact we’ve now got nearly twice as many guys in the clan signed up to go kinda sums up what an amazing weekend it was…. Literally one of my best weekend away…… So much so a few people from another clan ended up sitting with us and have since joined the clan to come to i42 with us.

To Princey : Grow up a little mate…. “A complete nerd fest”…… 1,945 posts on ocuk suggest that you to are a “nerd”… at least we don’t sit in our bedroom afraid to get out there and enjoy our hobby on a more social level! if anything you’re the nerd mate…

What and that one photo makes TFA looks superior to TFU because you had a shiny desk haha…. You look just as “nerdy”…. We didn’t care where we were sat... So what your saying is the guys in this picture shows what a "normal" person at lan should look like is it?... haha no offence but the guy on the right looks like he ran into the back of a bus haha!

A lot of those picture were taken while we were being totally annihilated by Dignitas.

The weekend was a proper laugh, we even tried some of this "drinking" and having social real life interactions with people! We even tried this funny non digital game called foot-to-ball or something, as far as I could tell the idea was to avoid an inflated sphere, personally I'm hoping it turns up on Steam, being a nerd.



Seriously, we're all posting in a PC gaming forum, the nerd ship has set sail and you're all on it. I urge anyone to give it a shot before slagging it off. It's a bunch of good lads with crates of beer having a laugh with some gaming, perfec.

Jesus take a freaking joke! No need to start picking on our individual people. :rolleyes: If you want to start comparing acne %ages and stuff we can, but I don't really see the point in it.

The picture was to point out to the bloke who was complaining about the tables that not all of them were like that. No body gives a rats where anyone was sat.

I think you take life a bit too seriously if you're offended by the comments in the thread.

What are you talking about... the 2nd part of your post said about the desks... the first was "TFU are not an example of the people at i40" Sorry but to me that puts us down!

Did you mistake the massive wink smiley in my post as a middle finger? It was a joke for apes sake. My original post reads nothing like the quotes you've made from it.

Well as i said out of the all the reply's here yours seems to really put us down the most whether you ment it or not, i've quoted what you've said and nothing more. If you didn't mean it to come out that way fair enough.

EDIT. I went to several of the early I series events at the Newbury race course and a wicked time was had by all. And trust me after 3 days of no sleep and no shower you don't look at you're best :)

The smiley didn't come out thats why it wasn't quote!
