Essex, innit?
I have just spent 3.5 hours vacuuming, cleaning, wiping, spraying, washing, rinsing and waxing. Phew! Never done a proper wash before and quite pleased with the result:

Looks ok apart from that though- beware though, cleaning cars is addictive and soon enough the shine you get won't be enough so you start spending a wedge of money on different polishes/waxes etc.

No chance, it took far to long! I'll pay the refugees to do it in the future :o

hope you waxed it afterwards otherwise the paint work won't have any protection on it- super resin is a polish, not a wax.

Sorry, mistype in the reply, I waxed it not polished. In fact I didn't know you could polish a car as well :o

Well it was good when Gilly said it and it still holds good now.
I wouldn't moan as it bumps your thread so that others who haven't seen it can. If there is anone in the whole world that doesn't know you have an L200.
BTW it would impress me more if you used it for what it's meant. Rather than just polish it up like a toy and take continual pics of it.
Has it been off road. Have you actually put anything in the back. :D

Also are you a big Dukes of Hazzard fan or just a wanna be Yank. :p

Owch. Cutting.

IIRC you are some sort of lawyer/accountant/office job type person. Why did you feel the need to buy a pick up?
Partially correct. And because I wanted one. Is that a problem?

Have you used the back to transport anything yet? Or do you plan to?
Yes. And yes.

He's been a bit harsher than I would've been , but he's making a very valid point. 13 threads on the subject in just over 2 weeks. Its not that busy a forum, a simple bump would've done.

13 threads in total. Of which 6 relate to this car, and two of those are questioons about diesel engines.

Yes, maybe I could've linked them with a bump. Apologies.

These are the only photos of the car I have taken. I posted the Autotrader photo when I first looked at it two weeks ago. I'm sorry I'm happy with my wash/waxing job and I'm sorry I'm happy with my new car.

I accept all the above and will take note. But the personal attacks go beyond that and are completely unneccessary. I left playground arguments at school some 15 years ago.
